Something Different | Dumbo {Brooklyn Portrait Photographer}

Okay, I'll admit it: sometimes photographing adults is a nice break! Kids are great, but they make you to work for it--first you have to win them over, then you have to keep them entertained--and rightly so. But once in a while, it's nice to let someone else do the jumping around. Like Will Brown, for example: professional dancer, choreographer, and all-around talented human. We spent a morning in Dumbo last fall capturing some of his amazing moves (along with some headshots), and I'm excited to finally share some of my favorite images here on the blog. I don't think I appreciated at the time just how much strength some of these moves require! portrait photographer nycportrait photographer nycportrait photographer nycportrait photographer nycportrait photographer nycnyc portrait photographerportrait photographer nycnyc portrait photographernyc portrait photographernyc portrait photographernyc portrait photographernyc portrait photographer

Christine | Studio Headshots {Brooklyn Portrait Photography}

Christine called me because she was making an exciting career move, and needed a headshot for her new website. Because Christine is a ton of fun (not to mention gorgeous), we captured so much more than typical headshots at our session. These images were taken with studio light only (really, there were no windows in the room!), and prove (I think) that studio lighting CAN look natural. By the way, Christine is an incredibly talented book editor--if you're a writer, go to christinepride.com to enlist her editorial services. Congrats, Christine!
