Big Brother-to-Be | Northern NJ Family & Maternity Photography

Fall is such a busy season for family photography that I rarely have time to share work--but sometimes a session comes along that's so special, I just have to press pause and post. This North Jersey family maternity session was already a recipe for perfection: gorgeous mom, amazing home, adorable kid...but this awesome family of three-and-a-half ALSO brought the most important ingredients of all: a willingness to laugh with me (and at me!) and just relax and trust me a bit as we explored their home and neighborhood together. I can't wait to return to photograph their new baby--which should be any day now! Baby A & Family | Newborn Photography in Westfield, NJ

The only thing better than a newborn photography sessions is a newborn session with an an older sibling! This kind of portrait session is my current fave, and some of the images we captured are my favorite of all time. I'm so excited to be building a client base here in Northern New Jersey, and this Westfield, NJ family could not have been more lovely to photograph--the sweetness is palpable.

I'm starting to think there will never be a blog post in which I don't lament how infrequently I blog. But it's times like these when I realize how long I've been doing this--and, regrettably, how little I've shared along the way. I was so honored to photograph Baby A's newborn session because I also photographed his big sister when she was a newborn! In fact, I got a chance to see how the family used her newborn pictures throughout their home, which is always a treat. It's also a treat to work with such a lovely family over and over again, and even though I haven't yet blogged big sister's newborn session, I can't help but sharing little brother's newborn session now.
