The autumn colors in this session are going to give me away--I'm very behind on blogging! Still, I think you'll agree it was worth the wait. The S family's shoot was as close to perfect as a photographer can hope for: a colorful setting, a beautiful family, and great moods all around...the perfect recipe for gorgeous images.
On a very blustery day in October, I headed to Park Slope to photograph this beautiful family. Two hours after we finished, the city shut the subways down in preparation for Hurricane Sandy, but you wouldn't know it to look at these images! Our setting was a local community garden, and what was really special about this shoot is that Grandma and Grandpa joined us, too!
I just love little G. He's such a trooper. He and his family were all troopers on a day that kept threatening to rain, and when he was operating on a very short nap! Thankfully the rain held out, as well as G's smile, and we were able to capture some images on the family's Cobble Hill stoop, at a nearby park, and even some in the Pier 6 playground in Brooklyn Heights.
